Remember about Fare Difference
The airlines have only exempted the travelers from airline change penalty and not from fare difference. So what is the fare difference? It is actually very simple, the cost of your original ticket minus the cost of the new ticket for your specified date. If the new fare is more than the original one then you will have to pay that extra fare difference. However, in case the new fare for your given date is less than the original amount you paid then you don’t pay anything and the remaining balance is carried forward under the traveler name as a credit.
However please confirm with the airline about the credit. Ask them if you can use it towards your future booking and if yes then what are the terms and conditions.
We hope you might have got a sign of relief. We would love to hear what you think. Join us on our facebook page.
